JV Field Hockey team practices on the field.

The JV Field Hockey team is 5-4-1 (wins, losses, ties), with one game left on Friday against Quaboag Regional High School.

The team is made up of sophomores Alyssa Drajpuch and Zoe Little; as well as freshmen Natalie Bruneau, Emmy Cooley, Kendall Nickl, Ava Pelletier, Paige Rosen, Airabella St. Pierre, and Emily Whittier.

Unfortunately, freshman Alyssa Kuszpa broke her ankle during pre-season, but has still been able to contribute as team manager.

Alyssa Drajpuch has been amazing in goal, throwing her body in front of every ball no matter how hard the shot. She has been an asset to the team.

Scoring has been evenly distributed with Emmy Cooley, Natalie Bruneau, and Zoe Little leading the way.

Low numbers across the league this season have meant many of the games have been 7v7 instead of the usual 11v11, due to an inability to field larger JV teams. This has led to a few less games throughout the season, unfortunately.
