Craft Fair

Craft+Fair

This year, Tantasqua hosted its 10th annual craft fair on November 12th, 2022. The Craft Fair is a fundraiser for the Tantasqua Chapter of SkillsUSA, and this year, it raised over $12,000.

Each year, the craft fair proves to be a long day outside, and this year was no exception. While it started with rain, with the first shift starting as early as 7:00 AM, it turned into a gorgeous day in the sun by the time every vendor stall was packed.

While a busy day, it proved to be lucrative and productive for every vendor, with items to shop for ranging chocolate covered pretzels to stuffed animals and even wreaths – and so much more.

Even as one of the workers with plenty to keep me busy, there was no way to deny the pure joy that being surrounded by crafts, vendors, and delicious food was able to bring to me – and I could see the same on everyone’s face as I passed them that day.

Vendors engaged with customers, talking with them about everything from individual hand-crafted items to the importance of supporting small businesses, further promoting and highlighting the power of our small town.
